Ludwig van Beethoven

Concert

  • Piano : Célia Oneto Bensaid

Nice Côte d'Azur Opera

The most revolutionary of our classical composers, Ludwig van Beethoven never stopped breaking conventions and expanding the expressive horizons of musical language.

Presentation

This is especially true of the two works presented here by Anna Sułkowska-Migoń: the sublime Piano Concerto No. 3 in C minor, Op. 37, performed with pianist Célia Oneto Bensaid, creates a deeply expressive and entirely new dialogue between piano and orchestra. His Symphony No. 6 in F major, Op. 68 (Pastoral) goes beyond the symphonic form, opening the way to the symphonic poem. Two masterpieces revealing the full modernity of Beethoven’s genius.

Due to health reasons, Marie-Josèphe Jude will be replaced by Célia Oneto Bensaid.
