This personal-data management policy describes the way in which your data is processed in the context of the use of the Nice Côte d'Azur Opera (NCA Opera) website "https://www.opera-nice.org" and other websites owned by the City of Nice, in accordance with European Regulation 2016/679 of 27 April 2017 on data protection (known as the "GDPR"), and Law No 78-17 of 6 January 1978 (French Data-Protection Act), as amended.

The NCA Opera, in its capacity as data controller, is committed to protecting the privacy of individuals and undertakes to take all necessary guarantees to ensure a high level of protection for your personal data. It determines the purposes and means of the processing it implements.

Compliance with data-protection rules is understood as a real factor of transparency and trust in your regard.

I. THE COMMITMENTS OF THE MÉTROPOLE NCA WITH REGARD TO THE PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

In the context of the use of the website of the NCA Opera and other websites owned by the City of Nice, the processing of your personal data is based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by sending an email to the Data Protection Officer (DPD) of the Métropole NCA: dpd@nicecotedazur.org.

Before collecting your data, the NCA Opera ensures that your consent is freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous.

Minimising the data collected

Your personal data is collected in a suitable and relevant manner with regard to the purposes pursued.

Your personal data is limited to that necessary to achieve the purposes for which it is processed.

Limiting the number of people who access and receive your data

Only authorised NCA Opera staff have access to your personal data, within the strict framework of their duties. They may only access the personal data necessary for the performance of their tasks.

Where applicable, only authorised recipients (natural or legal person, public authority, department or other body), authorised third parties, and subcontractors of the NCA Opera (who process personal data on behalf of the NCA Opera, upon its instructions and under its authority) may be recipients of your personal data, in strict compliance with personal-data protection rules.

Retaining your data in a limited way

Your personal data is kept for the time necessary to achieve the purposes pursued (purposes for which your data was collected).

The NCA Opera implements the appropriate technical and organisational measures:

If personal data is to be processed in a non-member state, the NCA Opera undertakes to ensure that said state presents guarantees that ensure a sufficient and appropriate level of data protection, in compliance with the GDPR and in particular the provisions relating to the transfer of personal data to non-member states.

Respecting your rights

In accordance with the GDPR and the French Data-Protection Act, you can access your data and request its rectification and deletion.

You also have a right to the portability of your data, a right to limit its processing and the right to organise the fate of your data after your death.
