To celebrate Halloween properly, the Nice Philharmonic Orchestra invites you to step inside the fantastic world of two legendary figures: Peer Gynt and The Sorcerer's Apprentice.

Though the meticulous composer Paul Dukas did not publish much during his lifetime, each of his works are true masterpieces. His Sorcerer's Apprentice, once popularised by a Walt Disney cartoon, leads us into the fantastic universe of a young magician overcome by a spell he has just cast … As for Grieg, he transports us into a completely different imaginary: that of Peer Gynt, this Ibsenian anti-hero who set out to discover the world. A bittersweet philosophical tale that speaks to young and old alike!
