Children and cancer: 2 words that should never be associated. Yet every year in France, almost 2,000 children battle cancer. Cure rates have improved considerably over the last 20 years, but this rare disease is still the second biggest killer of children over the age of 1, after accidents. And for those who recover, the after-effects - sometimes major - affect them for the rest of their lives.

In the paediatric haematology oncology department at Nice University Hospital, everything is done to support these little warriors and their families through this ordeal, so that their lives as young patients can resemble those of children.

The Indigo association is involved in the unit by funding a number of contributors whose presence is invaluable in the care and healing process: clowns, a social beautician, a painter and a relaxation therapist.

By attending the performance of "Mélodie et le Géant de la Montagne d'Or", you are helping to improve the day-to-day lives of these children in hospital. All profits will be donated to the Indigo association to enable it to continue its work.
