With the breathtaking Raphaëlle Moreau on violin for Mozart's famous Concerto No. 5 , this concert will also allow us to discover another of Schubert's unfinished symphonies: Symphony No. 7.

Mozart's celebrated Violin Concerto No. 5 , which has rapidly established itself as one of the great jewels of the violin repertoire, is no longer in the limelight, but Schubert's Symphony No. 7 is a new discovery. Thomas Rösner uses the version recently orchestrated by Austrian composer Richard Dünser to plunge us into the very special world of these pages which, it is clear, mark a real turning point in Schubert's career and herald the flamboyance of his last years. After Austria and Italy, Nice will have the honour of giving the French premiere!
