THE VERTIGINOUS THRILL OF EXACTITUDE

Choreography William Forsythe
Music Franz Schubert

Tutus, pointe shoes, infallible classical technique... And yet there is so much modernity in this piece for five dancers, imagined by William Forsythe who, once again, plays with the codes with a master's hand to delight us with this homage to classical dance.

LES INDOMPTÉS
Choreography Claude Brumachon
Music Wim Mertens

A pure moment of complicity that has made Les Indomptés, created in 1992, a real gem. Maximum intensity of emotion, perfect balance between sudden and calm sequences... The beauty of this duet has taken it to the four corners of the world, where more than thirty ballets have included it in their repertoires.

THREE GNOSSIENNES
Choreography Hans Van Manen
Music Erik Satie
Piano Roberto Galfione

A choreographic sketch of incomparable delicacy, these Three Gnossiennes reveal an art of drawing that is Hans van Manen's signature, an art he taught brilliantly at the Sommer Akademie des Tanzes in Cologne, where many young choreographers flocked to attend his classes.

CACTI
Choreography Alexander Ekman
Music Franz Schubert, Joseph Haydn, Ludwig Van Beethoven

With Cacti, Alexander Ekman offers us a jubilant dialogue between sixteen dancers and four musicians. With a blend of humour and virtuosity, his offbeat style has made him one of the most popular artists on the international scene in just a few years.
