Puccini's Great Heroines

The Cercle Richard Wagner Rive Droite was founded in 2010 and is celebrating its fourteenth anniversary this year. Its main aim is to promote 17th-century operas, and in particular Richard Wagner's lyric dramas, to a wide audience. It is also committed to making the operatic repertoire and Richard Wagner's masterpieces accessible to all audiences, in a friendly environment open to all musical expressions. With over two hundred members, it is considered one of the most dynamic and active circles in France. Today, the CRWRD has become a major player in the region's cultural life.


Explore the rich, poignant worlds of Tosca, Mimi, Madama Butterfly and many more, the iconic characters brought to life by the famous Italian composer. An afternoon dedicated to the exploration and discovery of Puccini's timeless music. This conference by the Cercle Richard Wagner Rive Droite will be hosted by André Peyregne, musicologist and former director of the Conservatoire de Nice
