Concerts

Lionel Bringuier invites us on a musical journey between fantasy and romantic passion. After the world premiere of Yann Plançon's La Lampe de l'Arga'Haam, a dark, epic overture inspired by the world of “dark fantasy”, the setting changes with Max Bruch's famous Violin Concerto No. 1, whose poetry and spellbinding virtuosity are translated by Akiko Suwanai. Brahms' Symphony No. 2 closes the evening with a luminous flourish. Sometimes referred to as the composer's “pastoral”, it deploys ample, serene melodies, bathed in an atmosphere of clarity and plenitude.
