From Bach to Glass via Villa-Massone

This season, the Opéra de Nice continues to meet you all across the city in unique and unexpected venues, offering you the chance to discover original programs. Enjoy an hour of music and singing from 7 to 8 p.m., and share a toast with the artists afterwards — the drink is on us!

This recital offers a musical journey, from the miniature to formal grandeur. From Steve Villa-Massone to Philip Glass, via Franz Liszt (and many other surprises). Jonathan Benichou invites the audience in Nice to discover the Barokiennes in a spirit of sharing and sonic poetry. Inspired by the words of Gaston Bachelard, “The miniature is one of the refuges of greatness,” the pianist will be joined by Steve Villa-Massone, composer and a key figure in the city of Nice.
